    • How does manufacture warranty repairs work under 1 one year from date of purchase:
The first question: How does manufacture warranty work on service calls?
Answer: If you have a problem with your appliances and it falls under the first year of purchase and is a manufacture failure of the product, than the repair would be covered under warranty. The manufacture will not cover rust, customer abuse, non related issues with the product example power issues to the appliances, and in most cases cosmetic parts due to damage. The customer must call an authorized service company. This can be done by calling the customer service number provided for your brand of appliance. The service company will come to your home and repair and replace any parts they are related to a manufacture defect. The service company will then file a claim through the manufacture for reimbursement for the labor and any parts replaced. The service company will not be paid for any mark up on the part replaced. The service company will be paid for only labor for the repair (which is a flat rate)
The service company will not be paid for anymore labor for 30-60 days for any rechecks from the appliance if the customer calls back with other complaints on the product. The service company is required to return to the home and recheck the appliance if it has a manufacture failure again. Customer education calls are not covered. If an event results in the product having a failure that is not covered by the manufacture the customer will be responsible for the repair.
The service company does not get annual checks from manufactures. They only get paid when each appliance is completed. A warranty claim is filed for each appliance failure.
And do the customers have any responsibility of the service call they report about?
Yes, it is the sole responsibility of the customer if any failure of the product is not covered by the manufacture terms and conditions in the owners manual of the product being repaired. The warranty company does not pay for claims than do not have a manufacture failure. The service company will have to bill or collect for any repairs not covered by the manufacture to the customer.
Customer must provide proof of purchase, must be in an accessible area for the technician to work on, and schedule a service repair during normal business hours.

  • Why doesn't your site have a big part look up program?
Why does your site not have a large catalog for parts? We are in fact a large company but small (online)company and with 1,000's of parts needed for appliance its very hard to keep a updated website on part changes. Also large companies with self look up online part programs pay alot of money to keep it up,which in turns reflects on the price of the parts they sell you. So please excuse our way of ordering parts, but we pass the saving on to you and you will be very happy with the savings you will find, just take any of the part numbers on our site and compare them around. We are still very prompt and supply you with a low price and fast service. Thank you.

  • Why does your site say needapplianceparts, and not the actual name of your business Cannon's Appliance Service?
Why does your site say needapplianceparts, and not the actual name of your business Cannon's Appliance Service? Well at the time of the web site being developed, we needed a catchy name for our web site. Needapplianceparts was the answer. Simple as that. It's pretty much internet marketing and search engine submission placing. Its easier on the web to remember a internet address than a company name. This is not a seperate company we are the same, all in one. The web site developer is Rick Cannon (me) also an appliance tech at Cannon's Appliance Service.

  • Why are prices sometimes different than what you have on your local pickup prices?
Why are prices sometimes different than what you have on your local pickup prices? Well, actually all our normal stocked prices should be the same. But if you were qouted a different price for a (special order) part please let caller know, and we will look into it. Because we are trying to beat all the main internet prices availble to you, that day maybe a special rate on shipping or a blow out on that part. Plus shipping and handling charges may be to work out same. All of this combined your price on us shipping it to you maybe different than you just walking in and picking up the part you want. Which you will get a LOW COST ANYWAYS. We do go by a low MSRP on all parts.

  • What is a normal labor rate on trip charges nation wide anyways?
What is a normal labor rate anyways? Rates do vary for most companys! An average professional technician and service costs a trip to your home and 30 minutes of labor for around $75.95 --- $95.00 USA area! Always use a company that handles multi warranty work even if its C.O.D .You have a better chance of getting a honest and trustworthy company! Or call a local dealer and see who they recommend. Don't fall for big phone page ads and cheap trip charge rates, they will more likely be a one time bandit!

  • What do i need to know before i call for service?
The most common problem believe it or not, is proper power to the appliance. Always make sure proper power is at the machine if it is not working at all. Second please the get the model and serial number off the appliance, and give it to the call taker and explain what the machine is not doing. This will sometimes prescreen service calls and possibly bring the part needed with us,if not already on our stocked vans.
